Sword - fine & scarce 1803 Pattern Infantry Officers Sword in its gilt brass & leather scabbard. Curved blade approx 31". Top flat marked "JJ Runkel Solingen" in script. Blade retains virtually all its original blue & gilt finish, blade VGC no nicks. Fine gilt brass hilt with wirebound fishskin grip & lions head pommel. Small loss to fishskin & lions head. A sought after quality sword
