£240
An animal group in the manner of John & Rebecca Lloyd of Shelton, modelled as a recumbent lion and lamb, mid 19th century circa 1840, with shredded clay mane and fleece, on shaped base with raspberry ground, 12cm wide, with two porcelain dog groups, one modelled as two hounds, 10.5cm wide, the other as a recumbent greyhound on a green ground, 10cm wide (3) (at fault)
The lion shows chips and nibbles to mane, rubbing to the black of the nose and mouth, extensive heavy rubbing to the gilt highlights, and wear to the raspberry ground. The base shows a hairline crack approximately 15mm long.
The two hounds group shows a crude repair to the standing dog's tail and rubbing to the gilt highlights (heavy in places).
The recumbent greyhound shows evidence of restoration throughout.
