A group of Japanese bronze, iron and mixed metal tsuba and a kozuka knife handle, 19th century, comprising a cast iron tsuba relief cast with two monkeys, engraved five character mark, 7.4cm, two oblong iron and mixed metal tsuba, the first decorated with a Falconer, 7.4cm, and the second with branches and tendrils on a basket weave ground, 7.1 cm, a gilt bronze tsuba engraved with a Shishi amid rockwork and flowers, 7.7cm, two bronze and mixed metal tsuba, the first cast with bamboo, 6.5 cm, the second smaller with a border of flowers, 4.9cm and the kozuka handle in bronze and mixed metal decorated with a crane, 9.4cm

Cast iron tsuba relief cast with two monkeys - some occasional rust patches and a copper in fill to the aperture.
Falconer tsuba - patches of rust.
Branches and tendrils on a basket weave ground tsuba - light rust patches and wear.
Gilt bronze Shishi tsuba - wear and scratching to the gilding.
Bronze and mixed metal bamboo tsuba - somewhere to the bamboo leaves, later chiselling around the central aperture. bamboo, the Smallest tsuba with a border of flowers - minor wear and later in fill to aperture.
Kozuka handle - indentations and wear particularly to the back and end of the handle, slightly bent when looking down the length of the item.
