To the front, a gilt metal Victorian helmet plate with an applied silver tri-part scroll inscribed THE CHESHIRE REGIMENT. The interior with leather sweatband and tailors stamp of Hawkes & Co London. The helmet retains a good shape, gilt worn to base brass metal, material with polish staining to parts. Some chin links to end absent
