A LATE 17TH CENTURY OAK CANDLESTAND, ENGLISH, CIRCA 1680-1700. Having an octagonal top with applied moulded edge, the ball and ring-turned pillar morticed and wedged through the top, on a triform base, the relatively flat, gently downswept and scroll-over legs on a turned bun foot, 64cm high, 40cm wide.
