1902 KEVII Colonial Key Plate Postal Order Poundage Stamp essay die proof in black on white glazed card, 92x60mm, endorsed in pencil "Charged to Bank of England 31st Jan 02" with "Rejected for solid background" written on the reverse. This design was later approved for the Poundage Stamp used on the KEVII postal orders of Great Britain. A fine and rare proof. Photo on Page 142
