A QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA AND KING'S SOUTH AFRICA PAIR TO THE SERVICE CORPS. A Queen's South Africa Medal with ghost dates and clasps for Cape Colony, Orange Free State and Transvaal, and King's South Africa Medal with South Africa 1901 and 1902 clasps. named to 11758 Cpl T.N. Bateman A.S.C. , the second to Bateman as Driver having been convicted of drunkenness on active service. Thomas Nelson Bateman attested for the Army Service Corps in July 1894 having previously served with the 5th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. Mounted for display with copied research.
