Punjab Medal 1848-9 with clasps 'Chilianwalia' 'Goojerat' of 5005 Gunner George P. Swindon of the Bengal Horse Artillery. Enlisted at Westminster on 11th April 1846 and joined 2nd Troop, 3rd Brigade, Bengal Horse Artillery on 23rd April 1847. He died in Umbellah, Bengal, on 6th February 1860, leaving no known next of kin, his personal effects being sold, and his accounts finalised at Jubbulpore on 10th April 1861.
