A KENNEDY MEMENTO. Evelyn Lincoln, describing herself here as 'Personal Secretary to the late President', relates how 'Early in his administration President John F. Kennedy was visited by a friend from Japan, who brought with him several transistors that were at that time being manufactured in Japan by the Sony Corporation...Kennedy kept these transistors on his desk in the Oval Office for several days...Later these items were discarded, however, one of those discarded transistors, which you now have in your possession, is this brown, lid controlled Model TR-624..'
