1839 (May 2) Entire from London to the Church Warden at Thwayte, Norfolk, franked by the Bishop of Norwich, endorsed "supposed nr Bungay", "try north Walsham", "Missent to Thwaite Suffolk" and "retd from" alongside a "STONEHAM" undated circle, handstamped with the rare "Mifsent to / Yalmouth N" (an error for Yarmouth), reverse with "THWAITE / 85". Very unusual, the Missent handstamp not recorded in the County Catalogue. Photo on Page 34.
