9 3/4 inch, single edged blade with fuller. Forte with maker "Alex Coppel Solingen".  Back edge dated "88".  Steel crossguard with regimental stamp "RK80".  Steel pommel.  Wooden slab grips.  Contained in its steel mounted, leather scabbard.
