A Safavid Copper Kashkul Beggar's Bowl with Chain Suspension, 17th Century.
A finely crafted Safavid copper kashkul elegantly shaped in the traditional boat-like form. The vessel is extensively engraved with cartouches of flowing naskh script bordered by floral scrollwork, and features two finely cast dragon-head terminals from which a chain is suspended. Raised on a small oval foot with engraved decoration around the base.
