Joseph Turner was killed in action on 25th October 1914 during the defence of the railway embankment near la Houssoie Station, near Armentieres and with no known grave is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial. With copied MIC, CWGC and Soldiers Died. Also with relative's KGVI Imperial Service Medal to Herbert Victor Turner good very fine. With copied LG, issued 9/8/40 as an Overseer, London Postal Region.
