A mid 19c French mantel clock in white marble case, the gilt drum of the movement supported on four marble columns with gilt capitals and decoration. The clock is surmounted by a marble and gilt urn and has a sunburst pendulum swinging within columns. The 9cm diam. white enamel dial has Arabic numerals with decorated swags between and has fancy gilt hands. The two train eight day movement is countwheel striking on a bell and the clock stands 40cm tall overall.
The clock is restored and in working order. There is slight chipping around the going side winding hole to the dial.
