10 inch, single edged, blued blade.  Narrow fuller.  Forte with maker "42asw".  Serial number "9935".  Steel crossguard and pommel.  Dark brown composite, grooved slab grips.  Contained in its steel scabbard, serial number "9935".  Complete with brown leather frog dated 1939.
