Jerdan (William) & Thomas Crofton Croker A correspondence of 6 A.L.S., c. 1816-1834 but mostly undated, including a formal letter from Jerdan to Croker, dated in another hand 1816, with seal, inviting him to serve on a committee; with four further letters from Jerdan and one from Croker, mostly short notes concerning arrangements to meet, etc., but showing that the two were on very friendly terms.
Thomas Crofton Croker (1798-1854) author of Eerily Legends and Traditions of the South of Ireland and other works, was a clerk at the Admiralty in London, William Jerdan (1782-1869) was a distinguished journalist, editor of the Literary Gazette and other papers. As a collection. (1)
