Attributed to K Evelyn Applegate (early 20th century British school) - Half length miniature portrait believed to be of Gladys, daughter of Harold Williams, fair haired and wearing a white cap and white lace collar against a blue ground, watercolour on card, with old paper label and inscription verso relating to sitter and artist, of rectangular form, 9 x 7cm approx, in simple gilt frame, together with a further half length portrait of a young child in white cap, seated on a wheelback chair, (possibly same child as above) of oval form, 5.5cm max approx, in oval brass standing frame (2)
The girl has some tiny patches of possible paint loss, especially on the blue background, otherwise appears okay. The baby in the chair is possibly slightly faded but otherwise okay.
