UK Protective Overprints; 1868 three examples of the scarce Wm. Dawbarn & Co., Liverpool overprint in black, reading downwards, each on a Penny Red plate (nos. 137, 140 ?, and 147) and with faults. Also five other stamps with markings on face (postal, or applied for recipient's administration ?) - 1d red with red circular mark, two 2d blues with "E", 2½d mauve with "E", and 1883 6d green with "C."
