Victorian Parian bust of Clytie after C Delpech, for The Art Union of London, impressed to the socle, height 35cm
There is a fine hair crack at the back of the bust, slightly above the petals. This is associated with an area of restoration, again at the back of the bust, with associated overpainting visible on the underside of the sunflower. This appears to go all the way around the underside. There are also associated chips to the inside edges of the petals.
There are chips to the upper edge of the socle (see additional images).
