A FIRST WORLD WAR 1889 PATTERN GERMAN SWORD AND SCABBARD. With a 78cm pipe-backed blade with spear point, decorated with finely scrolling decoration, owners initials 'GAG' and for the maker 'Pack Ohligher &Co. Solingen'. With broad pierced basket type guard and wire bound grip, in a nickle plated scabbard with twin ring suspension. 98cm overall. *CR Generally in good condition, blade with much original finish, guard worn and some marking to scabbard.
