A VERY FINE 19TH CENTURY FOLD OVER MAHOGANY TEA TABLE, with rounded corners to the inlaid table top that turns and folds open to reveal the beautiful table surface within. The top is supports with carved scroll supports on each side, and raised on a graduated column with canted detail to the corners and a collar detail that sits upon a quadra form base resting on castors. The table top with its diamond marquetry detail is really beautiful and the colour & grain of the wood is really stunning. Condition: over all excellent; there are some minor pieces of loss to the veneers on the base as can be seen in the images but it does not detract and can be easily restored. Dimensions: 91.5 x 45 x 75.25cm (W x D x H – closed) 90cm deep when folded open.
