An interesting collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century communion tokens, sixty eight Church of Scotland and Scottish Episcopal Church tokens mounted, glazed, and in an oak frame, 30.5 by 40.5cm, including a 1678 Bishop Hollyburton Brook, a 1699 Dunblane and a 1777 Belford token, approximately seventy five further loose tokens, including two 1755 Fyvie, four 1712 'Dyk' tokens, together with two books 'The Story of the Token' Robert Shells with handwritten dedication by the author dated 1893, a part copy of 'Communion Tokens by Brook', and a booklet 'Communion tokens - A Short Appreciation'. (1 bag and a framed set)
