A PAIR OF SYRIAN MOTHER OF PEARL AND BONE INLAID ARMCHAIRS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, highly decorated throughout with aesthetic form turned baluster panels and mother of pearl and bone inlay, with a carved Arabic panel and various geometric motifs

Good overall country house worn appearance. Does appear to be a few areas of filler on the back of one of the chairs. This does not appear to be repairs but filling in of knots or uneven areas. One or two minor sections of the inlay are missing. Arm joints are slightly loose. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
