A tiny, thin card, carnet de bal dated April 12th, 1866, in brisé form, on the recto each stick is marked with a number and the name of a dance, on the verso the sticks are simply numbered, a silver bird is applied to the lower guard, with two more holding a banner in their beaks, the wording sadly illegible, fitted with a cream silk tassel and a A.W.Faber pencil, guard approx. 7.5cm
