COLLECTING HOLES (1): 1877-2006 unusual but interesting collection of perforation related items inc. 4 Jan 1877 Western Australia piece bearing 2d with punched hole; 17 Dec. 1959 env. used in Trinidad with 2c with punched hole; 1951-52 Bermuda 12/6d mint with "scratch in King's head" variety and punched hole; another example without flaw used on 1952 airline ticket; 18 Sept. 1905 parcel tag sent to police in Natal bearing 3x 1d with ms "Offensive Communications"; 1938-51 Antigua 2/6d and British Solomon Islands 5/- both with diagonal "SPECIMEN" perforations; 1876 Japan 1s mint with blind perfs. at right.
