EMPRESS FROTH JUG. 9.3ins. Most unusual large jug of complex form, shapely handle, raised face to front spout going vertically down to bottom, large curved froth retaining top section. All over crazing. Strong black transfer both sides proclaiming THE NATIONAL SPIRIT MEASURING & CHECKING TAP COMPANY PATENTEES. Outside ornate oval border are two pictorial taps, one for the 40/- tap, the other for 30/- version. Impressive & rare. Only flaw is a rust filled line to bottom of spout - bleach out?
