WW1 French Ordre National de la Légion d'honneur Knights Order medal , 3rd French Republic 1870 as issued between 1914-1918 and is the highest order awarded in France. This example was awarded to a British Officer, Lt. Colonel CK Craufurd-Stuart for service in the Dardanelles where he was Acting Commander of the Hood Battalion at Gallipoli. Complete with original ribbon. New to the market.
