Fine long barrel flintlock belt pistol by premier maker Durs Egg. Side panel well engraved with stand of arms and "D. Egg" within oval. Top and backstrap with acanthus scrolling. Engraved swan neck cock, lock crisp on 1st & 2nd cock. Unusual round barrel, sighted, 9.5", top engraved "D.Egg London". Triangular, spring operated bayonet mounted under barrel (Handle with care !) Lock with safety catch, barrel with London proof and view marks. Finely chequered bag shaped walnut grips (bruising to butt end) silver escutchion. Scarce piece
