Two 18th/19th century fans. One boxed and made by J Duvelleroy, 167 Regent St W. London. Features 15 mother of pearl sticks with an image of a lady wearing 18th century dress, flowers on the reverse and translucent silk panels. Approx 40cm wide when opened, 22cm high when closed. The furthest left hand stick has a break towards the lower hinged section and all translucent panels have small splits. Other fan is a 19th Century Pale Horn Brisé fan featuring 21 16cm sticks with pointed tips with the body of the fan painted in with designs of small blue flowers. All the sticks all pierced.
