AN ART DECO SILVER COMPACT imported by Stockwell & Co., London 1935, of square form with engine turned striped panels, the hinged cover with gold dividers and with three panels channel set with six calibre cut sapphires, opening to reveal a mirrored interior, the hinged cuvette with hinged 'pull', 2 1/2" square (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)
Weight excludes mirror and 'frame' all which appear to be original, cover, base and inner cover Gold' not tested, all marked accordingly. Sadly lacks one sapphire.
