A WWII Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife having a brass cross-hatched grip and rounded pommel, oval 5cm wide cross guard, stamped '2' double edged 17cm blade, the brown leather sheath with belt hook and patinated brass chape.
The knife was owned by the vendor's late father who served in the British Forces during WWII
