Advertising Poster The Great Sorcar India Magic Illusion Mystery Show. Original vintage advertising poster for The Great Sorcar World's Greatest Magician, featuring an illustration of a smiling gentleman in a golden tunic shirt, and a pink feather-adorned headdress set over a light blue background. Protul Chandra Sorcar (1913-1971) was an Indian magician, known for aerial suspension routine and an illusion of sawing a woman in half which was broadcast by the BBC. Fair condition, folds, repaired tears, creasing, staining, paper losses on edges, large horizontal tear across the whole poster repaired with water soluble tape on reverse.
