Clarice Cliff - A 1940s Wilkinson toby (or character) jug of Winston Churchill modelled by Clarice Cliff, he in a blue uniform with black tricorn hat seated on a bulldog draped in a Union Jack and holding a battleship, the base inscribed 'And May God Defend The Right', and 'Going into Action' to the reverse, printed mark and hand signed by Clarice Cliff and numbered No. 247, height 31cm, restored.
The figure has been professionally restored to the hat and head area. The repair is of the highest standard and invisible to the naked eye.
