1922 Bonn na Dála or Dáil Medal. An Irish silver Celtic-revival style medal, a torc shaped border with Celtic interlace decoration, the central reserve engraved "Bonn - na - Dála - 1922", 1" (2.7cm) wide, hallmarked for Dublin, 1922, maker's mark 'E.J' for Edmond Johnson.
Almost certainly the first medal awarded by the Irish State. Only a handful are known, and of these, the recipients of only two have been identified. Rare.
