An original SS (Schutzstaffel) form dated 6th April 1937 regarding personal documents of SS-Oberfuhrer Deubel Heinrich (SS No. 186), which was signed by the Kommandant of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp SS-Obersturmannfuhrer Karl Otto Koch.
Koch was eventually accused by the SS of murder and several economic crimes (receiving stolen goods, fraud, embezzlement), he was subsequently sent to Buchenwald as a prisoner and sentenced to death and executed by firing squad in 1944. Koch had been the first commandant of the Buchenwald concentration camp back in 1937.
Koch's wife Ilse Koch was known as the "Witch of Buchenwald" after she was known to make lampshades from deceased Jew's tattoo's after they had been earmarked for death when they were known to have a nice tattoo.
