A Mintons majolica tazza, 19th century, modelled as a pierced basket raised above three putti representing hunting, fishing and growing, on trefoil base with scrolled acanthus leaf feet and fruiting vine embellishment, impressed maker's mark and '540' to underside, 32cm high (at fault)

The piece shows a discoloured repair to the basket approximately 12cm wide, and a further repair approximately 6cm wide on the opposite side of the basket. The interior shows an area of stained surface crazing. The body shows some firing pits and frits, and the odd small glazing fault, but no obvious chips or cracks.
