A George III mahogany serpentine front chest. Fitted with four graduated long drawers below a brushing slide and raised on bracket feet, height 85cm, width 99cm, depth 54cm. General wear commensurate with age and use, the top with some scratches and stains also the top is a little loose from the body, parts of cock beading lacking on three drawers, all drawers open and run relatively smoothly, lock lacking on top drawer but present in all others, right hand side with a gap between panels, joints are solid and robust, old repair to back right foot and back left foot lacking part of the bracket.
