Mosanic Galle style faience seated cat, circa 1900, with original glass eyes and decorated with blue heart form symbols against a yellow ground, signed in blue, height 22cm

The glaze has some noticeable hairline cracks at the tops of the legs running through the chest of the cat, and around the hind quarters. There is an actual hair crack on the underside of the base adjacent to the label and another one has been found also at the base; where there are also small chips to one of the feet, abrasions to the glaze on the tips of the ears. There are also some small chips to one of the front feet.
