A NEAR PAIR OF LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY CAPODIMONTE POT POURRI VASES, the finials in the form of a crown, reticulated cover and neck, the main body of the vase moulded and painted with battle scenes, supported on three legs and a triangular base, which is surmounted by a painted serpent, gilt N and crown marks and impressed number '378' to base, total height 28.5cm (2) (Condition Report: one appears to be unfinished and possibly second quality, without a painted 'sky' ground, there are some small firing faults inside, some of which have been covered with gilt beetles, the crown has been restored, the other vase has extensive restoration to base of vase and legs, some firing cracks to cover, both pieces have glue residue)
