A PAIR OF 19THC JAPANESE IMARI LIDDED JARS. A pair of 19thc Imari lidded jars, with a tapering rounded body, painted with flower blossom and foliage panels, the covers with dog finials, 25cm high overall (2) Provenance: Maperton House, Somerset.
One with a starcrack to base and fleabites to rim, the lid has a large section missing and various cracks to the top of the lid.
The other with some small chips to the base, some white spots to the surface in places, lid with a small chip to the side of the lid.
