A Burmantofts Faience jardinière, model 118, the turquoise body with incised foliate motifs and applied floral details, impressed maker's mark and model number to base, 16cm high
The piece shows fine surface crazing throughout to both the interior and exterior. The interior shows the odd firing pit and frit. The exterior shows the odd glazing fault to the body and wear to the glazed high points. The rim shows numerous small glazing faults. The piece is dirt and would benefit from cleaning. It is possible that this dirt is concealing further faults.
