A Chinese yellow ground dragon bowl, Jiajing six-character mark but later Probably 19th century, of rounded form with slightly everted rim, incised with a series of five-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls amid clouds, picked out in green against a yellow ground, a further dragon to the inside. 35.5cm dia. (riveted crack across foot rim)
