19th century coromandel wood writing slope, with Greek Key brass banding and fitted interior, presentation plaque dated 1881, 35.5cm across
Good overall condition, no major splits to exterior, general surface scratching and wear to wood and inlay. 2 front corners both missing, some inlay also. Inscription slightly rubbed, dated 1881. Upholstered slope split, held with orange tape currently. Missing rising lid tab. Front for secret compartment missing also. No inkwells. Some brass inlay present to inside.
