Did you know? This Machamp Holo was only printed in 1st Edition, making thousands of collectors thinking they discovered a rare, expensive card when they rediscovered their childhood collections. The true rare and expensive Machamp is the non-holo version released in a Trainer Deck before the TCG released in North America. This card has been authenticated and graded by CGC and awarded an Near Mint+ 7.5.Grading report: A card graded 7.5 may also have a touch of wear on two or three corners or slightly rough edges. The image may be slightly out of register. A slight diamond cut is allowed, and very slight wax staining is allowed on the reverse. TCG cards could have a moderate defect or a number of small handling defects. For sports and non-sports cards, 65/35 centering is allowed.About this card: The Original Base Set went through a number of variations and printings through 1999 and not all of them are widely known.The first iteration is known as 1st Edition Shadowless. This variation is distinct from the others on two grounds: 1) The 1st edition circular stamp on the left-hand side of the card is clearly visible, and 2) A shadowless card has a different colour pallet than its unlimited counterpart. The official terminology is what?s known as missing the ?drop shadow? on the card, specifically around the art box but the best way to describe it is it kind of looks like the entire card is sun damaged/bleach.
