Evans of Handsworth, an English skeleton clock of scroll design, the eight-day duration single-fusee movement having a subsidiary seconds dial, shaped silvered chapter ring with black Roman numerals and pewter bob to the anchor escapement, all of Evans' design, height 38cm clock, 49cm display case. See Derek Roberts, Skeleton Clocks fig. 3/63a. A near-identical Arabesque frame was used by Evans to utilise his detent escapement.
