A provincial Ming style Chinese blue and white ginger jar, painted with a fisherman in a lake landscape, 6¼in. (15.9cm.) high, later hardwood cover; together with a Ming style blue and white ovoid jar, painted with a flowering chrysanthemum, wax seal to shoulder, 5in. (12.75cm.) high, with a matched Chester silver cover; and a provincial Chinese cylindrical vase, painted with flowers and dots below a keywork border, wax seal to base, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) high, with hardwood cover, all with hardwood bases. (3) Ginger jar has a few glaze scratches. No other faults (but both jars lack original covers). Hardwood fittings sun faded.
