1948 (6 Sep) revenue document for a twenty-year lease for 26 Raffles Place, Singapore bearing NINE KGVI BMA keyplate $100 purple and blue, eight arranged in a strip and another single applied inside. By far the largest revenue franking known, and ex Peter Cockburn, presented on his original exhibition page. Offered with two further documents, two from Penang bearing $25, and one from Singapore bearing another $100, each franked in combination with postage issues. A super lot- the Raffles document a true showpiece.
