A Georgian gold and single stone collet set octagonal cut sapphire set ring, with a rose cut diamond set border, (almost all now missing) and fluted closed back setting, the stone measuring approximately 13.4mm by 11.1mm, size M, gross weight 5.9 grams.
Wear to the settings in general. Visible wear to the facet edges of the sapphire in places. Something possible missing from either shoulder just below the ring head??
