British Victorian 1871 Pattern Royal Berkshire Yeomanry Cavalry Helmet. Silvered skull. White Horse Hair Falling plume, missing boss. To each side, a brass rose head boss supports a modern replacement black felt backed brass chin chain. To the front is the helmet plate bearing the Regimental badge of Star & Crescent on a star backing. Black leather liner.
Body of helmet is in good condition with no split. Minor service wear. Modern XX Century replacement chin chain.
