A mid to late 20th century oriental stencil decorated biscuit barrel or tobacco jar, marked Gyokushu ga on a late Meiji or Taisho lidded and handled jar. Also reads Great Japan on the right and Satsuma Yaki down the center. All under the Shimazu crest. Measures 20cm to lid finial (height).
